Obituary
Robert H. Nugent, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (February 16, 2015) at the Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on September 18, 1934 in Hancock County, KY, the son of the late Tobin and Artie Mae Smith Nugent.
He was retired from GE after 39 years; He an avid fisherman; a member of the Fordsville Masonic Lodge and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie McGuire Nugent, one son, Darryl Nugent of Louisville, KY, two daughters, Sheri Byrum of Louisville and Bobbi Grether of Clarkson KY, three step-sons, Richard and Tony Sattich of Louisville and Ronnie Sattich of Clarkson, two sisters, Shirley Gray of Louisville and Frances Pirtle of Tell City, IN, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (February 21, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Netherland will be officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, KY. A Masonic service will precede the funeral service.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
