Obituary
Robert Dale Pettrey, age 51, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 10, 2014) at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, in Owensboro, KY.
He was born on July 10, 1963 in Grayson Co, KY, the son of the late Clayburn Pettrey Jr. and Bonnie Moore Escue.
He was a 1982 Graduate of Grayson County High School, a concrete construction worker who enjoyed NASCAR and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Bruner Pettrey, three sons, Chad Cannon (Kate) of Elizabethtown, KY, Logan and Nathan Pettrey of Owensboro, his step-father, Clifton Escue of Falls of Rough, KY, two sisters, Mitzi Kiper of Elizabethtown and Leslie Escue South of Caneyville, one brother, Jeffrey Pettrey of Louisville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (September 14, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Gerry Otahal will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
