Robert "Tadpole" Thompson, age 45, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 18, 2019) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on November 10, 1973 in Louisville, KY., the son of James "Frog" Robert and Rosie Thompson.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on vehicles and other mechanical devices and was a member of the New Life Apostolic United Pentecostal  Church.

He is survived by his mother, Rosie Thompson; sister, Mary "Sissy" Gordon; niece, Elizabeth "Nikki" Andis (Cory); and special friend Nub King. Several aunts and one uncle also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert "Frog" Thompson.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, (May 23, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. James G. Thorton will be officiating. Cremation will follow after the service.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until time of services.
