Rocie Shain, age 97 of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday December 5, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on September 30, 1912 the daughter of Cleveland & Nancy Woosley.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, a retired Nurse's Aide for the Grayson County War Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by 1 son Eugene Shain of Caneyville, 1 daughter Imogene Tidwell of Caneyville, 2 grandchildren Georganne (Anthony) Clark of Caneyville & Eugenia (Jeff) Elmore of Caneyville, 7 great grandchildren Jessica & Sarah Elmore, Ashlyn, Megan, Dana, Mattie & Kevin George Clark, 3 sisters Fronia Shain of Louisville & Gracie Frank of Caneyville, & Sible Brown of Illinois, 1 brother Dewey Woosley of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Martin Shain, 2 sisters Iva Harrell & Zelphia McBride, 3 brothers Isaac Woosley, Mitchell Woosley & Reason Woosley.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M Tuesday (December 08, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Elder Dwight Dyer will be officiating. Burial in the Deweese Cemetery.
