Roger Bratcher, age 66, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 3, 2021) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on April 2, 1954 to his mother, Vegie Pierce Bratcher.

He was retired from Kentucky Carpenters Union and Skilled Large Equipment Operators, who loved farming, spending time with family and only owned John Deere Tractors; He was a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge and was a first degree Mason since September 11, 1978 and was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, whom he married on July 28, 1973, Alma Dean Hack Bratcher, two children, Scotty (Melinda) Bratcher and Amanda (Randall) Kilgore both of Caneyville, one grandson, Daniel Bratcher (the apple of his eye), two step-granddaughters, two step-grandsons, five great grandsons and two great granddaughters, two brothers, Joe (Gail) Bratcher and Tommy (Debbie) Bratcher both of Caneyville and one sister, Beatrice VanMeter of Anneta, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his mother, Vegie, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie and Carlie and his sisters, Patsy, Imogene and Barbara (Sissy).

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, (March 7, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Weedman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bratcher Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
