Roger Dale Cook, age 74, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 22, 2025) in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on August 3, 1950 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Robert Lee and Willie John Shanks Cook.

He was a maintenance worker at McDonalds. He married his loving wife, Brenda Rose Cook on August 22, 1975. He was the caretaker of the family; his wisdom and guidance will be missed. He also had a mischievous side to him and loved to pull pranks, all in a humorous manner. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks, mowing his grass and doing yardwork. He loved his family deeply and loved all kids. He was a member of Goshen Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Cook; his children, Rebecca Smith (Daniel), Amanda Sneed (Brad), Joseph Cook (Jessica), and Stephanie (Tommie);    grandchildren, Daniel (Rhonda), Kollin (Kayla), Bradley (Ciara), Kelsey (Tyler), Kaleb, Summer,  Ashton, Alex, Ashlee, and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Olivia (Talan), Seth, Hazel, Mia, Katrina, UJ, and Baby Sneed coming in 2026; and two brothers, James Cook and Paul Cook.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Graveside services will be private.
