Obituary
Roger M. Pettrey, 57, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (February 13, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on April 17, 1953, at Ft. Knox, KY, the son of Clayburn Lee, Sr. and May Irene (Beatty) Pettrey. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Leitchfield.
He is survived by a sister, Shirley Silcox of Memphis, TN, a brother, Gary Pettrey, Sr. of Beaver Dam, KY, and 6 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by, his parents and a brother, Clayburn L. Pettrey, Jr.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (February 17, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
