Roger Dale Poteet, age 68, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 17, 2021) at his home.

He was born on January 12, 1953, the son of the late Noel and Esther Miller Poteet, and was a machinist at Vermont American.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Nelson (Justin) of Wax; a step-son, Billy Luis of Leitchfield; a step-daughter, Theresa Mills (Timmy) of Brownsville, KY; and three grandchildren, Dean Nelson, Jace Mills and Peyton Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
