Obituary
Roger Lee Smith, age 47, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 22, 2009) at his residence.
He was born on November 13, 1961, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Leonard Smith and Elsie Roof Lindsey. He was a tree trimmer.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Lindsey of Big Clifty; his daughter, Emilee Rose Smith; two brothers, Everett Lindsey and Ricky Smith both of Big Clifty; two sisters, Willodean Jarboe of Leitchfield and Pamela Smith of Alabama and one niece and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Smith and one sister Barbara Brenner.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (October 29, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
