Obituary
Roger Lee Willis age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 29, 2008) in Elizabethtown, KY.
He was born on July 10, 1931, in Grayson County, KY the son of Jack and Bertie Hack Willis. He was a member and trustee of the First General Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Mickie Willis of Leitchfield, one son, Rodney (Joetta) Willis of Leitchfield, two daughters, Judy (Roger) White and Robin Jackson of Leitchfield, five grandchildren, Buffy Burnett of Illinois, Jody White of Leitchfield, Kristie Westerfield of Beaver Dam, Dana Hevrin of Indiana and Diana Willis of Leitchfield, two great grandchildren, Javin Burnett of Illinois and Keelee Westerfield of Beaver Dam, six brothers, Earl and Jack Jr. Willis from Illinois, Charles of Louisville, Russell, Roy and Vernie from Leitchfield.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Mearl Willis and one sister Anna Lou.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 1, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tracy Burnett and Bro. Joe Watson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 4:00 pm Sunday.
