Ronald K. Morrison, age 70, departed this world October 3, 2023. Thomas and Gladys (Haycraft) Morrison welcomed the birth of their first son on September 30, 1953. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys (Haycraft) Morrison.

Surviving are his father, Thomas Morrison, sister, Mary Jo Hayes, brother, John Morrison, sister, Nancy Haycraft (Darrell) and nephew, Briar Morrison.

He graduated from Clarkson High School and Western Kentucky University, loving especially science and biology. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed carpenter/farmer. Being an avid photographer, Ronnie had pictures printed in the Courier Journal as well as a front page spread in the local paper. He went on several professional archaeological digs, as well as scuba diving escapades. He loved his family and his animals and that love was returned. He was truly a gift to his family.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hanging Rock Cemetery.
