Obituary
Roy D. Ralph, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, a native of Ohio County, KY, passed away Wednesday, (October 24, 2007) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. KY.
He was born in Ohio County KY, the son of Jimmy and Allie Ralph. He was a World War II Veteran, a retired farmer and construction worker and was a member of the Clarkson Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Marva Dean Calloway Ralph, two daughters, Brenda Carroll (James) and Linda Foster (Steve) both Leitchfield, three grandchildren, David Muffett of Leitchfield, Jason Muffett of Owensboro, KY and Bret Foster of Lexington, KY, five great grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah, Cody, Lily and Harrison, one step granddaughter, Becky Gibson of Mt. Washington, KY, three step great grandchildren, Zack, Noah and Josh Gibson, four brothers, Andrew of Hartford, KY, Herman, J W, and Eugene Ralph all of Hartford, KY.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Lucille Farmer, Margaret Payne, Martina Ward and William D. Ralph
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (October 27, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. James Long will be officiating. Burial will be in the Ralphs Cemetery in Ohio County, KY.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
