Roy Lee Zackery, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 9, 2018) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on February 26, 1944 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Roy and Margaret Justice Zackery.

He was a retired belt line operator at Gates Rubber who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Potters Hope Ministries.

He is survived by his spouse, Rosie Marie Zackery; children, Mark Zackery (Tanya) of Westview, KY, Mary Clan of Hodgenville, KY, Martha Thornton (Dale) of Danville, KY, Barbara Zackery and Cindy Gellhaus (Charles) both of Elizabethtown, Margaret Hibbs (Stuart) of Owensboro, KY and Robert Pawley of Leitchfield; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Logsdon and Brenda Zackery both of Leitchfield. Several aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Alvin Clan and a sister, Mary Margaret Jarboe.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (October 12, 2018) at the Potter's Hope Ministries in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Potter's Hope Ministries from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
