Obituary
Royce C. Jones, age 64, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday (January 12, 2009) in Caneyville, KY.
He was a farmer and was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was born on October 2, 1944 in Grayson Co. KY the son of the late Clem and Leona (Bratcher) Jones.
He is survived by his sisters, Artie Mae Burden, of Morgantown, KY and Ruby Burden of Louisville, KY. Also surviving is a dear friend, Barbara Embry and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Hilary V and Arthur Lee Jones and Emmalene Jones.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 p.m. (January 16, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Tim Burden will be officiating. Burial is in the Neafus Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
