Obituary
Ruby Alice Ausbon, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 19, 2015) at home.
She was born on February 21, 1923 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late William Ernest and Mary Abigail Shain Harrell.
She was a housewife and homemaker, who loved her family very much and enjoyed flowers, gardening, mowing grass, Jigsaw puzzles, gospel singing, and WJCR Radio, and was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church and had attended Potter's Hope Ministries.
She is survived by three daughters, Bernice Sandlin (Charles) and Joyce Joyce both of Leitchfield and Bonnie Maye Grubs of Clarkson, KY, two sons, Lennie Ausbon (Jackie) of Louisville, KY and Murrell Ausbon ( Lillie) of Leitchfield, eight grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Ida Knott both of Louisville.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Ausbon, two sisters, Tessie Farris and Ruth Patterson and a brother, Thomas Harrell and a grandson, Mark Grubs.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (April 23, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Charles Welling will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
