Obituary
Ruby Mae Burden, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 28, 2014) at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield.
She was born on January 1, 1922, in Pine Knob, KY, the daughter of the late Carl and Alvirda Miller Green.
She was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed her making flower arrangements and baking desserts.
She is survived by two sons, Charles of Louisville and Thomas Burden of Leitchfield, one daughter, Brenda Johnson of Louisville, a daughter-in-law, Imogene Burden of Leitchfield, two grandchildren, Michael Burden and Chris Basham, four sisters, Roxie Burden of Louisville, Cuba Duggins of Brownsville, KY, Lavorice Young of Mt Washington, KY and Imogene Demunbrun of Leitchfield.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Edgar Burden.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 30, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
