Ruby Dean Carter, age 82 of Louisville, KY, formally of Caneyville passed away Wednesday (August 12, 2009) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on December 2,1926 the daughter of Neil & Stella Evans Newton. She was a former employee of Phillip Morris, with over 30 years of service.
She is survived by 1 sister, Carrolline Wheatley of Gallatin Tennessee, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and her husband Alvin Carter.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday (August 15, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M.until funeral time on Saturday.
