Obituary
Ruby Cockriel King, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (August 10, 2007) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on October 22, 1926 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of Chester and Hallie Newton Cockriel.
She is survived by one son, Jr. (Kathy) King, of Leitchfield, one step-son, Charles William King of Leitchfield, one daughter, Carlene (Charles) Weedman of Caneyville, one sister, Marie Lamars of Leitchfield, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe King Sr., one son, Otha King, one daughter, Elsie Hazelwood, one sister, Eva Fields, and one brother, Coy Cockriel.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (August 14, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Neil Carnes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 2:00 P.M. on Monday (August 13, 2007)
