Ruby Lee Payton Young, age 90, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Monday, (June 20, 2016) at her residence.

She was born on February 24, 1926 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Guy and Bertha Oller Duggins.

She was a home-maker, who enjoyed quilting, gardening, and feeding and watching the birds. She was a member of the Yeaman Church of Christ.

She is survived by six daughters, Reba Young, Dena Salmon (Granvil), all of Leitchfield, Wanda Young (Denver), of Bowling Green, Peggy Young (Reed) of Caneyville, Freda Noblett (Samuel), and Ginger Robinson (Michael) all of Leitchfield; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Corrine Combest of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Murvel Payton, her second husband, Raymond Wavy Young; two sons, Wilber Lee and Timothy Ray Payton; infant brother, Leonard Duggins; three sisters, Garnet Duggins, Nadine Oller, and Doris Beatty.

Combined funeral services along with her husband, Raymond Wavy Young, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (June 22, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Gary Fox and Darrell Glenn will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oller Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, until time of services.
