Obituary
Ruby "Jackie" Prewitt, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 25, 2013) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on February 11, 1933 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late George Hillary and Ruby Thompson Williams Prewitt.
She was a home maker, who loved listening to the radio, singing, and attending church. She was a member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sisters, Patsy Sue Prewitt, and Gloria Whobrey and husband, Bobby, all of Leitchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jo Osborne, Corine Napier, and Jane Hack.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (December 27, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Brian Matthews and Bro. Rudd Kerr will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
