Obituary
Russell Ray Ferguson, age 79, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 22, 2010) at his residence.
He was born on April 1,1931, in Horse Branch, KY, the son of Eleve and Flora (Bratcher) Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Etter) Ferguson, one son, Ray Anthony Ferguson, two great grandson's, Richard Keith Crowe Jr. and Nathan Ray Ferguson, one brother, Shelby Ferguson of Louisville, four sisters, Doris Sandback of Irvington, Alice Wells of Owensboro, Yvonne Hoover of Clarkson, and Ann Chinn of Michigan. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Audie, Odie, and Milford, one sister Nell Young, and one granddaughter Nicky Ferguson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. (May 26, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the McGrady Creek Cemetery. Dr. Dennis J. Preston will be officiating.
