Obituary
Ruth Carroll Decker, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (June 12, 2012) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
She was born on May 2, 1932, in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William Garrett and Felia Hayes Carroll.
She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Lovoid Decker (Janie), Lambert Carroll Decker (Margie) and Gilbert Lee Decker all of Leitchfield, four grandchildren, Shawn Decker of Calhoun, KY, Jody, Brittany and Elijah Decker all of Leitchfield, one step grandson, Jamie Meredith, six great grandchildren, Kerstyn, Kaleb and Zane Decker, Haley and Ashlee Carlock and Lincoln Collier, two step great-grandchildren, Ashley and Sydney Rice and several nieces and nephews and a special friend Jackie Kiper.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elza Lovoid Decker, two brothers, Wilbur and Woody Carroll and two sisters, Wilma Jo Woosley and Winnie Mae McStoots and seven half brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Thursday, (June 14, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
