Ruth Frances Sherrard, age 75, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 29, 2012) at the Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on July 18, 1936, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Senate and Nell Kerr White. She was a co-owner and receptionist at R & R Tax service of Leitchfield and was a member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church. Her hobbies included reading magazines, watching Wheel of Fortune and especially loved her dog "Sammy".

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Kelly Ramsey of Leitchfield, three brothers, Roger (Judy), Thomas (Bev) and Darrell White (Sandy) all of Leitchfield, two sisters, Ruby Allen (Ralph) and Carolyn White both of Leitchfield, two nephews and one niece and a great nephew and great niece.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years of marriage, Ralph Sherrard.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (May 3, 2012) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Bryan Matthews and Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
