Samuel Eugene Kennison age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (March 30, 2008) in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on November 19, 1929, in Grayson County, KY the son of Robert Edward and Clara Maude (Meredith) Kennison. He was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Louise Lindsey Kennison of Leitchfield. One daughter Vickie Kennison Newton of Caneyville. One son Jerry Dale Kennison of Leitchfield. Three granddaughters Melissa Hatfield of Clarkson, Kathy Guillayme of Caneyville, and Christa Kennison of Leitchfield. One grandson William Dale Jones of Clarkson. Two great grandchildren Lilly and Maya Guillaume of Caneyville. One brother Pete Kennison of Leitchfield. Two sisters Juanita Rankin and Pauline Stone of Leitchfield.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Edward Dermitt and Bro. Phillip Langdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 Wednesday until time of services.
