Shannon Lee Cahill Buchanan, age 40, of Louisville, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 11, 2020) in Louisville.

She was born on November 01, 1979 in Jefferson County, Kentucky the daughter of her late father, Frank Cahill, Jr. and her mother, Helen Cripps Richey.

She worked as a motel night auditor who enjoyed arts and crafts and scrape booking. She had a prison ministry and enjoyed mailing cards to inmates to encourage them. She attended Springfield Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Morales; her son, Christian Greenwood; mother, Helen Richey of Leitchfield; sister, Denise Saling (Kevin) of Bee Spring; nephew, Adam Saling (Sarah) of Bee Spring; and her husband, Bryan Buchanan of Louisville.

Other than her father, Frank Cahill, Jr. she was preceded in death by her step-father, William Richey.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, (October 17, 2020) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow after the services.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday until time of services.
