Sharion Burden, age 70 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 28, 2019) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

She was born on March 17, 1949 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Marvin and Verble Renfrow Edwards.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and has been a member of the Free Zion Baptist Church for 53 years.

She is survived by her two sons, David Vance (Becky) and Marty Burden (Tammy); a daughter, Amanda Burden; four grandchildren, Joshua Burden, Emily Burden, Serenity Barclay, and Matthew Wiseman; two great-grandchildren, Ryker Wiseman and Albany Klenk; two brothers, Elliott Edwards (Mary) and Roger "Jerry" Edwards (Sandy); five sisters, Maxine Frank, Vivian Pannbacker, Joan Smith, Joyce Madison (Darrell), and Jean Hall (Donald). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Burden; a brother, Lloyd Edwards and one sister, Ella Brown.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (August 1, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Glennie Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oller Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
