Sharon Kay Decker, age 54, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 14, 2017) at her home in Leitchfield.

She was born on March 12, 1963, in Hudson, KY, the daughter of the late Clifton Sr. and Helen Coogle Burden.

She was a housewife who enjoyed cooking and baking and was a member of Claggett United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Decker of Leitchfield; four brothers, Clifton Burden Jr. (Tina) of Battletown, KY, Doug Burden (Mendy) of Leitchfield, Allen Burden (Eva) of Roundhill, KY, and Kenny Coogle of Elizabethtown, KY; two sisters, Diane Lucas (Curt) of Leitchfield, KY, and Charlotte Cahill (Tony) of McDaniels, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive as well as her beloved pet, Copper.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wayne Burden.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (June 17, 2017) at the Claggett United Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Cecil Williams and Bro. Garry Watkins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
