Obituary
Sharon Faye Lohden, age 57, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (April 18, 2012) at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was born on July 23, 1954, in Barren County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Manova Atnip Lohden. She was a teacher at Clarkson Elementary School for thirty years. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Campbellsville College, and her Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University. She was a member of the Clarkson Baptist Church.
She is survived by cousins, Tricia Just (Paul), Charlotte Steenbergen
(Michael), Sam Boles (Becky), Wayne Lohden (Jessica), Clara Emily Stilts
(Marty), Tommy Watkins (Angie), Nelda Wooten (Sammy); and one aunt, Grace Lohden Watkins of Glasgow, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday (April 22, 2012) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Brent Smith and Todd Steenbergen will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Glasgow, KY.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday (April 21, 2012) and from 12:00 p.m. noon Sunday until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or to Clarkson Baptist Church.
