Obituary
Sharon Sue Thomas, age 58, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (September 26, 2014) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on November 16, 1955 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late James A. and Ada Lois Saltsman Decker.
She was a manager at Subway who loved camping, talking on the telephone and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, J.J. Thomas, a daughter, April Cornwell (Ken), a son Jason Thomas (Misty), seven grandchildren, Madison, Mallory and Elijah Thomas, Kelsey, Kenton, Kamden and Kade Cornwell, two sisters, Jo Snyder of Booneville, IN, Sheila Stewart of Clarksville, TN , and a brother Steven Decker of Ashland City, TN.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Kacey Cornwell.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (September 29, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
