Shella R. White, age 82, of Lincoln, Illinois, formally of Grayson Co., KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 23, 2007) in Lincoln.
She was born on January 9, 1925, in Falls of Rough KY, the daughter of William and Beulah (Woosley) Salmon. She was a housewife and tobacco farmer along with her husband Hugh, and was a member of the Lincoln Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sisters, Lucinda Miller and Dorothy Geary both of Lincoln, 17 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews and a number of great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh and two brothers, Lloyd and O'Neil Salmon.
Local funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (October 29, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday.
