Obituary
Shelley Marie Chambliss Carroll, age 43, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (March 19, 2015) in Leitchfield.
She was born on December 26, 1971 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late William Haskell Chambliss, Jr., and Judy Barnes Griffith.
She was a factory worker most of her life, and enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and being around people. She attended Hanging Rock Church.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Carroll of Leitchfield; her mother, Judy Barnes Griffith of Ft. Meyers, FL; two daughters, Morgan Kaye Baxter (Tyler) of Louisville, and Kayte Wells of Leitchfield; son, Donald Wayne Caskey, Jr. of Falls of Rough; step-son, Emmitt Carroll of Leitchfield; brother, Chuck Clemons "Bubby" of Clarkson; sister, Zella Chambliss of Louisville; grandson, Kaleb Baxter; and grandmother, Mollie Chambliss of Salem, KY.
Other than her father, William Haskell Chambliss, Jr., she was preceded in death by a brother, Cary Chambliss, and grandfather, Haskell Chambliss, Sr.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, (March 22, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. Sunday until service time.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
