Sherrill Gene Woosley, age 67, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 19, 2026) at Norton Downtown in Louisville, KY.

He was born on February 08, 1958 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Noil and Betty Sue Young Woosley.

He was a boilermaker who enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting and collecting guns, and fast cars. He was a member of Boilermakers #40 in Elizabethtown and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his daughters, Jordan Malempati (Chaitu) of Bowling Green, KY and Jessica Woosley (Billy Probus) of Elizabethtown, KY; three grandchildren, Bryce, Kailey & Gavin; and a brother, Eddie Woosley (Frances) of Caneyville, KY. A niece, Jill, and two nephews, Matt & Ben, also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, (October 03, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Sherrill’s name to the Grayson County Animal Shelter.
