Shirley Embry, age 66, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 30, 2023) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on March 10, 1957 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Herman Embry and Velma Willis Maxwell.

He worked as an auto body repairman and enjoyed playing on his computer and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Hash Embry of Leitchfield; two daughters, Kelly Woosley (Larry) of Elizabethtown, KY and Tammy Embry of Leitchfield; and five grandchildren, Conner & Logan Kinkade, Katlyn Payne (Jared), and Garrett & Hannah Woosley. Two brothers also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
