Obituary
Shirley Johnson, age 67, of Louisville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 20, 2013) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on April 29, 1945 in Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Richard Leroy and Jean Surrency Ferrier.
She was a retired machine operator from Mother's Cookies in Louisville. She enjoyed computer games and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Pridemore from Hardinsburg; one son, Damon Johnson and his wife Tracy from North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Kimberly and Kelly Johnson, and Whitney Pridemore.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Johnson, one sister, Betty Richack, two sisters-in-law, Juanita Staggs, and Lucille Sherrill, four brothers-in-law, Roy Oller, Gus Haynes, Mitch Mitchell, and Herbert Shirrell. .
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (February 22, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
