Shirley L. Logsdon, age 81, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Monday, (September 6, 2021) at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on March 28, 1940 in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Odessa Beeler Skaggs.

She was a retired nursing assistant at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield and Medico Nursing Home in Elizabethtown and enjoyed sewing and gardening and she was a member of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Winford "Wink" Logsdon, eight children, Annette Rathe, Sonia Macewiez, Arlene Dile, Ernie Humphrey, Donna Harrel, Melissa Mercer, and Charles and Christopher Logsdon; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy Skaggs; one sister, Darlene Peeters; 16 grandchildren  and several great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Patricia Skaggs and Donnie Joe Skaggs.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (September 11, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks and Bro. Matt Milam will be officiating. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
