Sibyl Taylor Wilburn, age 94, of Winchester, KY, formally of Grayson and Butler Counties, died Saturday, (May 5, 2018) at her niece's home.

Sibyl was born May 6, 1923 to the late Eugene and Lillie Taylor and the widow of Clarence "Hillard" Wilburn.

She was a former member of Barnetts Lick Baptist Church from 1934 until 1959 and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church until present. She was retired from farming and caregiving.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by infant son, Lynn Rossi Wilburn, sisters, Iva Taylor Meador and Carrie Taylor Tarrence.

Survivors include one sister, Eulma Taylor Gary of Caneyville, KY, two nieces, Sharon Meador Green of Winchester, KY and Lisa Meador Henderson (Paul) of Morgantown, KY, two nephews, James Gary (Florence) of Leitchfield and Dennis Meador (Yetta) of Bowling Green, KY as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (May 9, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Darrell Snyder will be officiating. Burial will be in Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
