Sister, Sharlett Rose Embry, age 59, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday (December 27, 2008) at her residence.
She was born on June 12, 1949 in Morgantown, KY, the daughter of the late Grady and Anna Marie (Embry) Nash.
She was the Pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy in Caneyville, as well as a housewife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Damon, two sons, Tracy and Mark (Billi) Embry, two daughters, Lyresa (Matt) Ashley, Faith (Chris) Bratcher, all of Caneyville, three sisters, Shirley Embry, Shella Garrett, Gay Embry, all of Morgantown, KY, four brothers, Dale, and Sharone Nash both of Morgantown, Sanford of Indiana Shelton of Louisville, seven grandchildren, Brandon and Summer Embry, Moriah and Caleb Ashley, Chelsea and Chauncey Embry, and Madison Grace Bratcher.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (December 30, 2008) at the Church of God of Prophecy in Caneyville with Sis. Lyresa Ashley officiating. Burial is in the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in
Caneyville, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the Church.
