Sue Ann Mahurin, age 78, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 08, 2025) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY after a battle with a long illness.

She was born on April 17, 1947 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Howard and Estella Stanton Dennis.

She was a homemaker and had been a caretaker to many loved ones. She enjoyed reading, thrifting, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward Mahurin; two children, Debbie Lusk (Kevin) and Tommy Mahurin; two grandchildren, Alyssa Coates & Kristen Lusk; three great-grandchildren, Marley & Myles Hendrix and Memphis Lusk; two brothers, Jimmy Dennis (Vickie) and Jerry Dennis; and a special friend Carolyn Midkiff.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, JD Briles; and two brothers, Randall and Barry Dennis.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (July 14, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Mahurin Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
