Susan Rae McLennan, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 16, 2024) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on October 17, 1955 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Richard and Doris Clark McLennan.

She was a proud nurse who enjoyed helping people, reading, going dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and family, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas and was a member of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her son, Larry Joseph "Joey" Denney II of Shepherdsville, KY; two grandchildren, Ethan & Zoey Denney and a sister-in-law, Judy Brueck. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents and step-mother, Roberta McLennan, she was preceded in death by her brother Richard McLennan.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
