Obituary
Sylvia V. Duvall, 84, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 2, 1930 in Grayson County the daughter of the late Billy Frank and Elizabeth (Sanders) Powell.
She was a Christian, who enjoyed gardening, baseball and collecting baseball cards. She loved to cook.
She is survived by sons Wendell Minton and his wife Jan of Russellville, Ronnie Minton of Louisville, Donald Minton and his wife Sherry of Leitchfield, Sammy Duvall of Leitchfield, Danny Duvall and his wife Pam of Leitchfield, daughters, Cindy Decker and her husband Dewayne of Clarkson, and Tammy Pierce and her husband Tony of Clarkson, sisters Elvia Childress and Maxine Watkins both of Leitchfield, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymon Minton and Harlan Thomas Duvall, 2 sons Stanley David Minton and Johnny Glenn Duvall, 3 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 9, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Wayne Clemons officiating.
Visitation at the Dermitt Funeral Home will be after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
