Obituary
Tabetha Shawn Valera, age 36, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Tuesday, (February 10, 2009) at her residence.
She was born on April 24, 1972, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Martin Cook and Beverly Stevenson Cook. She was a home maker and a great mother to her son.
She is survived by her husband, Israel (Izzy) Valera of New Jersey, one son, Israel Izea Valera of Elizabethtown, her father, Martin Cook (Mary) of Elizabethtown, her mother, Beverly Stevenson of Leitchfield, one brother, Brandon Cook (Amelia) of Leitchfield, one sister, Adrienne Duke of Elizabethtown, one niece Karley Rae Cook, one nephew, Garrett Duke, her maternal grandparents, Harley and Roberta Stevenson, her paternal grandparents, Kip and June Decker all of Leitchfield, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. (February 13, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
