Terri Lynn Geary Coleman, age 66, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (July 3, 2023) at Edmonson Center in Brownsville , KY.

She was born on July 12, 1956 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Elmer Geary and Hazel Payton Geary.

She was a Cashier at Walmart for ten years who enjoyed gardening, cooking and Christmas was her favorite holiday. In her school years, she enjoyed being a part of Spelling Bees and playing flute in the marching band. She was the last graduating class of Caneyville High School in 1974. In her younger years, she enjoyed drag racing. She also had a deep love for country music and jewelry. Terri had a big heart and loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed being a Nanny to her granddaughter, Kaitlyn and a loving mother to her daughter, Jayme and son-in-law, Chad. They were her whole world.

She is survived by her daughter, Jayme Coleman May (Chad) of Leitchfield, granddaughter, Kaitlyn May; brother, Dale Geary (Annette) of Clarkson; sisters, Ellen Geary Bratcher (Dennie) of Caneyville and Melinda Parks of Yeaman; special niece, Amy Cannon (Matt) and  a special great-nephew, Case Cannon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Heath Geary and step-daughter, Miranda Victoria Coleman.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 11, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. James Thornton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
