Thelma Ann Myatt, age 78, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (January 9, 2016) at her home in Falls of Rough.
She was born on February 14, 1937, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Staab Bauer.
She was a production scheduler for Alcan Foil Products and a former Girl Scout Leader for Troop 360 who enjoyed gardening and UK sports.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Nelson (Tom) and her son, Gary Myatt (Debbie), both of Falls of Rough; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Marcia Cotton, and a brother, Wayne Bauer, both of Louisville, and several nieces.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Myatt, two sons, Maury and Tim Myatt, and a grandson, Joshua Myatt.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (January 13, 2016) at the Short Creek United Methodist Church in Short Creek, KY. Bro. Barry Davis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lonestar Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at the Short Creek United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
