Thelma Lampton Poole, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (July 3, 2020) at Springview Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on April 1, 1928, in Madrid, KY, the daughter of the late Lennie and Zoa Tucker Lampton.

She was a housewife, and enjoyed working puzzles, gardening, flowers and cooking. Thelma was a member of the McDaniels/Antioch United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Ralph Poole (Janice), Randall Clinton Poole (Debbie) and David Dewayne Poole (Debbie); six grandchildren, Chris Steve, Greg, Morgan and Scotty Poole, and Mary Johnetta Berry and ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Smith, Freda Nelson and Shirley Lampton; several nieces and nephews and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burton "CB" Poole, brothers, Justus Lamar Lampton, Blackburn Lampton and Boyd Lampton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (July 6, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Kenneth Self will be officiating. Burial will be in the McDaniels/Antioch Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
