Theresa Lynn Lawson, age 57, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (February 15, 2016) at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

She was born on December 19, 1958 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Garland Eugene and Rebecca Geneva Wilson Mullins.

She retired from Wal-Mart as a door greeter, after working there for ten years. She was a home-body who enjoyed listening to oldies music, camping, the U.K. Wildcats, spending time on Facebook, and playing online games. She also enjoyed spending time with old friends, and being with her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Lyn Lawson of Clarkson; three daughters, Amy Lawson, (Ronnie Boone) of Clarkson, Pattie Maulden (Jesse) of Cub Run, and Jennie Lawson of Clarkson; step-son, Justin Lawson; one sister, Melissa Mullins of Elizabethtown,; four brothers, George Mullins (Eleonore) of Louisville, Denny Mullins of Brandenburg, Jerry Mullins of Louisville, and James Mullins of Mayock, NC; six grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Mason, Lexi, Rebecca, and Cameron; a special friend, Tommy Lynch, and best friend of 49 years, Cathy Boyd Whaley; several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Jennie Mullins, brother, Michael Eugene Mullins, a nephew, Garrett Nicholas Cook, and her father-in-law, Bobby Lawson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (February 18, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Moore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Eveleigh Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
