Thomas Decker, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 26, 2011) at his residence.
He was born on July 5, 1941, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late Roberta Decker Sullivan. He was a retired tank mechanic from Ft. Knox and a member of the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Tomes Decker, one son, Dwane Decker of Leitchfield, one daughter, Beth Bailey of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Jessica Bailey, Jaxon Higdon and Bailey Mercer, three brothers, Larry Tuck, and Jimmy and David Sullivan all of Florida and one sister, Mildred Caldwell of Florida. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Crowley.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (March 29, 2011) at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Charles Larry Bell will be officiating. Burial will be in the Broadway Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services at the Church.
