Thomas Wallace Reed, age 68 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (July 27, 2007) in Louisville.

He was born on March 2, 1939 in Hardin County, KY, the son of Noah and Dorothy Hugron Reed. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Shrewsbury Masonic Lodge #545.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Reed of Leitchfield, three sons, Dale Reed, Tommy (Lisa) Reed, Jason (Marci) Reed all of Leitchfield, two daughters, Vicki (Jeff) Chandler of IN, Stephanie (Roy) Hack of Leitchfield, five sisters, June Decker, Norma Reed and Brenda Weber of Leitchfield, Viola Cunningham of Lebanon Junction and Stephanie Bryant of Bowling Green, several sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews, 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-father George Hugron, one sister, Emma Russell, one grandchild, T.J. Reed, one great grandchild, Emma Chandler and a beloved son, Charles Wallace Reed.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (July 31, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Blanton Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lyle Cemetery.

Visitation after 5:00 p.m. Sunday (July 29, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Masonic service will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday (July 30, 2007) at the funeral home.
