Timothy Joseph Decker, age 56, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (December 4, 2020) at his home.

He was born on January 5, 1964 in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late Oscar and Nelma Rea Newton Decker.

He was retired from Leitchfield Plastics, who enjoyed playing piano and spending time in the nature and was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church.

He is survived by three brothers, Gilbert (Jennie) of Indiana, Robert (Susie) of Clarkson, KY and Ronnie Decker (Melissa) of Leitchfield, six sisters, Faye Sego, Betty Saltsman (James), Ina Green (James), Josie Chambers (Ernie), Diane Ward (Randy) and Charlene Downs (Barry) all of Leitchfield, two brothers-in-law, Harlan McGrew and Elroy Cook. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Decker, three brothers, Orin, Oscar Jr, and Harold Decker, two sisters, Mary McGrew and Elaine Cook and a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Carmel Sego and Irma Decker.

Funeral services will be private. Bro. Cecil Williams and Bro. Garry Watkins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home.
