Timothy Lynn Embry, age 62, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (January 20, 2025) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on July 08, 1962 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Leonard and Juanita Day Embry.

He enjoyed collecting old cars, and watching UK and Grayson County Cougar basketball. He was a member of one of the many churches his father, Leonard, pastored.

He is survived by his cousin and caregiver Sue Vincent of Clarkson; special friend and caregiver Beverly Napper; maternal cousins, Judy Franzell (Roger), Johnny Day (Allison), Steve Day (Diane) & Ronnie Embry; paternal cousins, Peggy Morris, Kendall Ashley (Sharlet), Pat Ashley (Bunny), Michael Daniels (Jennifer) & Bobby Geary; and two special friends, Mr. Goodman & Kendall Tarrence.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 26, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
