Obituary

Timothy DeWayne Embry, 58, of Caneyville, Kentucky passed away on February 28, 2023 at UofL-Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky surrounded by his family who loved him very much.

He was born on March 13, 1964 to the late Wayne V. Embry and Peggy Clark. He worked in construction most of his life and owned a construction-consulting company and was a member of the Carpenter's Union. He enjoyed working on automobiles and helping his friends and family with anything they needed. He was an advocate for agriculture and its importance to this country. He was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Emily Carman (Chris) of Hanson, Jenna McCoy (Jericho) of Campbellsville. Two granddaughters, Evie Jane and Charlea Beth McCoy. One sister, Teresa Embry of Leitchfield. 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews also survive in addition to several friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Embry and Peggy Clark.

The funeral service will be held on March 3, 2023 at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM . Bro. Darryl Dockery will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Neafus Cemetery.

Pallbearers are his son-in-laws, Chris Carman and Jericho McCoy, nephews, Hootie Hayes and Ben McMillen, and his two dear friends, Bryan Tucker and Trevor Brooks.
